This concurrent dual-band access point delivers robust 360-degree Wi-Fi coverage, ensuring a seamless and high-speed connection for all users. It supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi 5 standards for the 5 GHz band and legacy 802.11b/g/n for the 2.4 GHz band, providing wide compatibility and excellent performance. The device comes with two distinct enclosures (round and square) to perfectly match your interior design.
Advanced Connectivity and Power Options
The cAP ac is engineered for flexibility and network expansion. It features two Gigabit Ethernet ports for high-speed wired connections. The first port accepts 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet (PoE) for clean, single-cable installation. Uniquely, the second port features passive PoE output (up to 57V), allowing you to power another device, such as an IP camera or a second access point, directly from the cAP ac, simplifying your network infrastructure.
Uncompromising Performance and Management
Powered by a quad-core IPQ-4018 processor and 128 MB of RAM, the cAP ac effortlessly handles demanding network traffic and a high number of connected devices. It operates on MikroTik's renowned RouterOS, offering extensive control over your network with features like VLANs, QoS, and guest access. For added convenience, a central mode button can be configured to turn off all lights and sounds for inconspicuous operation or to launch any custom RouterOS script.
