Unleash Fiber-Fast Wireless with the Mimosa A6 6GHz Access Point
The Mimosa A6 is a future-proof access point designed to deliver gigabit-plus speeds for outdoor Point-to-Multipoint (PtMP) networks. It shatters the limitations of traditional 5 GHz wireless by leveraging the expanded 160 MHz channels of the low-noise 6 GHz band. This powerhouse AP is engineered for performance, scalability, and reliability, making it the ideal solution for rural broadband projects, dense urban deployments, and enterprise campuses.
Next-Generation Wi-Fi 6E Performance
At the core of the A6 is the latest Wi-Fi 6E technology, including 8x8 Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO), 1024-QAM modulation, and OFDMA. These features combine to deliver a massive 6 Gbps of aggregate IP throughput, exceptional subscriber capacity, and unparalleled spectral efficiency. The A6's advanced noise-fighting beamforming and network-wide GPS sync ensure reliable connections even in crowded and noisy RF environments.
Engineered for Demanding Outdoor Environments
The Mimosa A6 is built to withstand the elements with a rugged, UV-stabilized polymer enclosure and an IP67 ingress protection rating. It can operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to +55°C (-40°F to 131°F) and survive winds up to 200 km/h (125 mph). The integrated antenna boasts 16 dBi of gain, which is enhanced to 24 dBi with adaptive beamforming, ensuring a strong and reliable signal over long distances.
Flexible and Scalable Deployment
To simplify installation and reduce deployment costs, the A6 features an internal switch with one Gigabit Ethernet PoE port and two 10 Gbps SFP+ ports. This allows for seamless interconnectivity without the need for an external switch. A dedicated 48 VDC power input is also available, eliminating the need for extra Ethernet runs when deploying fiber.
