Account and Data Deletion Request

If you have created an account on the NexGen Computing mobile app or website, you have the right to request that your account and all associated personal data be permanently deleted from our system.

Steps to Request Account Deletion:

To request the deletion of your account and personal data, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to support@nexgencomputing.co.za
  2. Use the exact subject line: "Account Deletion Request - NexGen Computing App/Website".
  3. Ensure you send the email from the email address associated with your app account so we can verify your identity.

Data Deletion and Retention Policy:

Once we receive and verify your request, your data will be processed within 7 to 14 business days:

  • Data Deleted: We will permanently erase your personally identifiable information from our active databases. This includes your name, email address, phone number, and saved shipping or billing addresses. You will immediately lose access to your account on the app.

 

  • Data Kept (Retention): Your past order history and transaction data will be completely anonymized. This anonymized, non-identifiable transaction data is retained strictly for legal, tax, and accounting purposes for a period of up to 7 years, as required by law. It will no longer be linked to your personal identity.
