Your Bridge to the Internet of Things
Introducing the MikroTik KNOT, a truly universal and versatile IoT Gateway designed to be the cornerstone of your connectivity projects. The KNOT is an exceptional solution for bringing wireless connectivity to wired sensors, monitoring assets, and serving as a cellular backup for your primary internet connection. It leverages cutting-edge Narrowband and CAT-M cellular technologies, ensuring reliable, low-cost data transmission supported by countless mobile operators globally. Whether you're in agriculture, asset tracking, cold chain monitoring, or industrial manufacturing, the KNOT provides a robust and cost-effective solution.
Unprecedented Connectivity Options
The KNOT is engineered for maximum flexibility, integrating a vast array of protocols and physical connections. It features 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, two 100 Mbps Ethernet ports with PoE-in and PoE-out, and a Micro-USB port. This device can monitor onboard GPIOs, convert Modbus protocol to TCP, and seamlessly forward Bluetooth advertisement packets (from iBeacon, Eddystone, and other BLE tags) to your TCP/IP network via HTTPS and MQTT. This makes it an ideal tool for asset tracking and telemetry.
Built for Demanding Environments
Designed as a great tool for most outdoor cabinet IoT applications, the KNOT is built to last. It comes with a DIN rail mount for easy integration into various setups and can operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C. You can use the KNOT as a TCP bridge from wired Modbus sensors to a server, or bring wireless connectivity to devices like electricity meters and relays. For example, you can manage a vending machine with temperature and liquid sensors using just a few megabytes of data per day, thanks to the efficiency of NB/CAT-M technology.
