Ensure Seamless Power Redundancy for Critical IT Equipment
The APC NetShelter Rack Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) AP4424A is a high-availability switch that provides redundant power to single-corded equipment in your IT rack. This fifth-generation ATS delivers industry-leading reliability and agility, ensuring your critical loads are always powered. It features dual input power cords, allowing you to connect to primary and secondary power sources. If the primary source fails, the ATS seamlessly switches to the alternate source with a transfer time of less than 10ms, ensuring your operations continue without interruption.
Advanced Management and Security
Engineered for modern data centers and edge computing environments, the AP4424A has been upgraded with an APC Network Management Card 3 (NMC3) for enhanced security and remote management. Users can access and configure the Rack ATS through a secure Web UI, SNMP, and CLI. It is also fully compatible with EcoStruxure IT for comprehensive infrastructure management. The unit features a color LCD display for intuitive local control and monitoring of power flow.
High-Density Power Distribution
This 2U rack-mounted ATS is a single-phase unit with a 32A rated current and a 230V rated voltage, supporting a load capacity of up to 7400VA. It is equipped with two IEC 309 32A inlets and provides a generous number of outlets, including sixteen (16) IEC 60320 C13 and two (2) IEC 60320 C19, to power multiple devices within the rack. Inbuilt circuit breaker protection safeguards against overcurrent events.
