High-Performance, In-Wall Wi-Fi for Demanding Environments
The Grandstream GWN7624 is a high-performance 802.11ac Wave-2 in-wall Wi-Fi access point, expertly designed for small-to-medium-sized businesses, hotels, offices, and residential complexes. This access point is engineered to provide a discreet and professional installation, blending seamlessly into any environment. It features advanced 4x4:4 MU-MIMO on the 5G band and 2x2:2 MIMO on the 2.4G band, delivering a combined wireless throughput of up to 2.03 Gbps. The GWN7624 is built to support up to 200 concurrent Wi-Fi client devices, making it an ideal solution for medium-density wireless network deployments.
Versatile Connectivity and Power Options
Beyond its powerful wireless capabilities, the GWN7624 offers exceptional wired connectivity with four Gigabit Ethernet ports. One of these is a dedicated uplink port with support for PoE/PoE+ to power the device. Additionally, two of the downstream ports feature Power over Ethernet (PSE), capable of providing power to other devices like IP phones, cameras, or other network endpoints. This self-power adaptation upon auto-detection of PoE or PoE+ simplifies installation and reduces cable clutter.
Centralized Management and Robust Security
Management of the GWN7624 is flexible and straightforward. It features an embedded controller that can manage up to 30 local GWN series access points. For larger deployments, it is also supported by GWN.Cloud, Grandstream's free cloud Wi-Fi management platform, and GWN Manager for on-premise software control. Security is paramount, and the GWN7624 addresses this with anti-hacking secure boot, critical data/control lockdown via digital signatures, a unique security certificate, and a random default password per device.
