Unlock Gigabit Speeds Over Existing Coax Cabling

The IgniteNet GLinq Outdoor is a powerful and rugged Ethernet over Coax converter designed to enable service providers to deliver gigabit speeds through existing or new coaxial cable infrastructure. This system is the ideal solution for extending bandwidth to buildings with outdoor coax and for distributing high-speed internet within buildings, eliminating the need for expensive and disruptive new cable installations. By leveraging existing coax, you can significantly reduce installation time and costs.

Seamless Integration with MetroLinq Wireless

Combine the GLinq Outdoor bridge with IgniteNet's 60GHz MetroLinq wireless products for a complete, end-to-end gigabit connectivity solution. Deliver gigabit speeds wirelessly to a building and then effortlessly distribute that capacity throughout the entire structure using the GLinq system. This unique combination ensures a clean, simple, and rapid deployment of high-speed connections.

Simplified Management and Powering

The GLinq Outdoor features an integrated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi radio, which allows for easy setup, configuration, and remote management. It also supports a reverse power feed feature via a DC jack or terminal block. This allows a client-side GLinq device to send power back through the coaxial cable to the rooftop unit, removing the need to run a separate power circuit to the roof. The device is also manageable through IgniteNet's powerful and affordable cloud controller, which provides remote access, network monitoring, and visualization of statistical information, helping to reduce operational expenses.

Robust, Secure, and Scalable

Engineered for outdoor deployments, the GLinq Outdoor is built to withstand harsh environments with an operating temperature range of -40 to 70°C. It ensures a reliable connection with LDPC forward error correction and robust communication modes for high-noise environments. Security is handled by 128-bit AES CCMP encryption to keep your data safe. A single GLinq master device can connect with up to 15 client converters, making it a scalable solution for multi-tenant buildings.
