Engineered for Reliability in Demanding Environments

The Netonix WS-12-250-DC WISP Switch is meticulously designed for the Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) industry, boasting a ruggedized chassis and an extended operating temperature range for unparalleled reliability. This switch features a powerful, yet intuitive user interface that delivers the essential software features that WISPs demand for efficient network management. Manufactured in North America, it is built to perform in the most challenging conditions where consistent power and data are critical.

Intelligent DC Power Management

At its core is a 250W SMART DC power supply that accepts a wide variable input range from 9V to 60V DC, making it perfect for direct battery bank or solar-powered installations. This intelligent system provides uninterrupted 24V and 48V Passive PoE and allows you to monitor DC voltage and current directly from your power source. Advanced power features include programmable thermal shutdown and the ability to automatically shed load by shutting down lower-priority PoE ports when battery levels are low, preserving your most critical links. The system can even hibernate the site when power is critically low and restore functionality once it detects that charging has resumed.

Versatile High-Performance Connectivity

The WS-12-250-DC is equipped with twelve 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet ports and two SFP uplink ports for flexible fiber connectivity. With a total non-blocking line rate of 14 Gbps, this switch ensures high-throughput performance for your entire network. Each of the 12 ports can be configured for various passive PoE outputs (24V, 48V, 24VH, and 48VH) directly through the user interface, providing the versatility to power a wide range of devices from different manufacturers.

Built for the Professional

Designed for desktop, wall, or optional 19” rack mounting, this switch offers flexible installation options. The rugged chassis is complemented by a chassis earth ground lug for enhanced protection. With an extreme operating temperature range of -25 to 55°C (-13 to 131°F), the Netonix WISP Switch is the definitive choice for industrial and remote deployments where reliability is non-negotiable.
