Power Your Network in the Harshest Environments

Introducing the RADWIN IDU-SI, a carrier-class, industrial-grade Layer 3 PoE switch engineered for mission-critical deployments in the most demanding conditions. This compact and fanless switch is designed for installation in outdoor cabinets and space-constrained locations, providing a robust and reliable solution for powering RADWIN radios, CCTV cameras, Wi-Fi access points, and other PoE-powered devices. Its rugged design, wide operating temperature range, and advanced features ensure your network remains operational when it matters most.

Engineered for Industrial Excellence

The IDU-SI is built to withstand extreme temperatures, operating flawlessly in environments ranging from -40°C to +75°C (-40°F to +167°F). Its fanless, passive cooling design not only ensures silent operation but also enhances reliability by eliminating a common point of failure. With a DIN-rail mountable chassis, installation in outdoor enclosures is streamlined and secure.

Unleash High-Power PoE and High-Speed Connectivity

With a total PoE budget of 360W, the IDU-SI is capable of delivering up to 90W of power per port, supporting the latest high-power PoE++ (802.3bt) standard. This makes it the ideal power source for advanced radio units and other power-hungry devices. The switch features a versatile port configuration to handle high-throughput aggregation:

  • 4 x 2.5GbE RJ45 ports with up to 90W PoE++
  • 4 x 1GbE RJ45 ports with up to 90W PoE++
  • 2 x 10G/1G SFP+ uplink ports for high-speed fiber backbone connectivity

Advanced Layer 3 Routing and Management

The IDU-SI offers comprehensive Layer 2 switching and full Layer 3 routing capabilities, including support for static and dynamic routing for complex and redundant network topologies. This enables more efficient network segmentation and traffic management. For mission-critical reliability, it supports carrier-class protected ring topologies with a self-recover time of less than 20ms. Management is made easy through a user-friendly Web GUI, CLI (Telnet/SSH), or integration with RADWIN's WINManage NMS.

Redundancy and Reliability Built-In

To ensure maximum uptime, the IDU-SI features redundant, dual DC power inputs, allowing for a secondary power source to take over seamlessly in the event of a primary power failure. It also includes a dry contact digital input/output relay for connecting external alarms and sensors.
