In addition to biometrics, the device includes a built-in 125 kHz RFID card reader for flexible access (with optional support for 13.56 MHz IC cards). Secure data transmission is guaranteed through the RS485 communication interface, with optional AES128 encryption to protect fingerprint templates sent to the controller.
